Just paying your Sanford traffic ticket would mean that you would have to accept the points on your license that are applicable as a result of your Sanford traffic ticket. And those points could lead to an increase in the insurance rates that you pay. Therefore, you should try to avoid having any points on your license. Fortunately, under some circumstances, you may avoid any points by electing the traffic school option. However, before you decide, you should call us.

As you probably know, your license could be suspended as a result of you receiving too many points within a certain period of time. Twelve points in twelve months could lead to a suspension of up to thirty days, eighteen points in eighteen months could mean a suspension of up to three months, and twenty four points in thirty six months, a suspension of up to one year.
If you just pay the ticket and have too many points, your license
could be suspended as a result of your Sanford traffic ticket
And even if you are not at risk of having your license suspended,
your insurance rates could go up as a result of any points
The most common traffic tickets carry three or four points, although a few traffic infractions carry six points. So regardless of whether you have received a number of traffic tickets as a result of several stops by the police or if you have received a number of traffic tickets as a result of one stop, the points can add up.
The city of Sanford was founded by American diplomat, businessman, and lawyer, Henry Shelton Sanford. Sanford was a direct descendant of Thomas Welles, colonial governor of Connecticut.

Sanford began his work as a diplomat in 1847, at the ripe old age of 24, when he was appointed Secretary of the American Legation in St. Petersburg. Subsequently, Sanford held a number of other diplomatic posts including one in Frankfurt, Germany, and another in Paris, France. Then, in 1861, Sanford was appointed the United States Minister to Belgium. Sanford was President Lincoln's first diplomatic appointment. Sanford maintained this post until 1869.

In 1870, Sanford purchased the 23 square mile "Sanford Grant" and subsequently founded Sanford. In 1875, Sanford built two hotels, the Sanford House and the Monroe House. Shortly thereafter, in 1877, Sanford was incorporated as a city.

In 1913 the Florida Legislature established Seminole County with Sanford as the county seat. Today, Sanford has a population of over fifty three thousand residents.
